special Programs
The Logistics Section oversees these special programs:
211 Call Center
The call center is an extension of ADEM’s public inquiry function. Public inquiry is a function of the Policy Section and is tasked with assisting with the formulation and issuance of timely and accurate releasable information about SEOC operations to the public.
Resource Maintenance
Physical resource maintenance is a function that encompasses many aspects within the Division of Emergency Management.
Mutual Aid
In emergency services, mutual aid is a formal agreement among emergency responders to lend assistance across jurisdictional boundaries when required. On a smaller scale the principle of mutual aid guides the creation of community emergency response teams such as volunteer firefighters.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
A geographic information system is any system for capturing, storing, analyzing and managing data and associated attributes which are spatially referenced to earth. In the strictest sense, it is any information system capable of integrating, storing, editing, analyzing, sharing, and displaying geographically referenced information.
Certified Response Team (CRT)
The Arizona Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) has an on-call response program called the Certified Response Team (CRT). The CRT Coordinator, under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Logistics, manages this program.
E-Team
E-Team is a comprehensive functionality for all critical tasks associated with emergency management, facility and event security, disaster preparedness and recovery, and business continuity.
