Arizona Incident management team
The Arizona Divisions of Forestry and Emergency Management formed the State of Arizona Incident Management Team (AIMT) in 2003. The team consists of approximately twenty-five primary members plus a group of trainees and alternates from various Arizona state agencies. AIMT helps local, state, and federal agencies manage a range of multi-hazard incidents and events.

The AIMT is considered a “short” Type 2 team. Type 2 Teams manage logistical, fiscal, planning, operational, and safety issues of  complex incidents/events.
